Materials 

We meticulously select ingredients that are renewable, non-toxic, and biodegradable, ensuring that our paints are safe for both users and the planet. Unlike liquid paints, Character products contain no volatile organic compounds (VOCs), plasticisers, formaldehyde or other toxins and have none of the usual solvent fumes or off-gassing that can last for months.

Manufacturing

We have developed low carbon manufacturing techniques that help significantly reduce our carbon footprint. We continuously seek out innovative technologies and practices to further enhance our sustainability efforts.

Packaging

By utilising sustainable packaging materials and reducing waste wherever possible, we strive to promote circularity and resource efficiency.

Disposal

Character products are biodegradable and classed as non-hazardous waste. Unlike liquid paints they will not contribute to soil or marine pollution when breaking down.
